Highlights 2014: Water Week

Campers made plastic-bottle jellyfish and clay sea monsters




They explored the Hackensack river with Captain Hughie of Riverkeepers





We tested water from the South Mountain Reservation and the Maplwood Pool and talked rain water runoff with Millburn Civil Engineer Mr. Wilkinson



Campers learned about water scarcity by playing the Scarcity Game



And we made aquaducts and Archimedes screws to move water.




Campers showed what they were taught about the water cycle in school and then drew he more indepth water cycle that deals with pollution, water runn-off, and ground water use.
