Camp campers work on first aid

Liza was the first (hilarious) victim

We think she suffered from spongebobitis.

The right back pack

Lisa explained the developments in back packs over the years and then we tried some on.

Liza found o e just right and in the right color!

Benner needs a couple more decades of growing before this one fits!

Little Maya also found one that fit and matches her outfit!

Lexi also found a pack that fit and works as a neck rest when on!

A visit to REI to learn about supplies

Lisa explained differences in sleeping bag materials over the years.

Benner fell in love with one bag.

Lisa also talked about kitchen supplies.

Campers work on walking sticks

Campers stripped the bark off their sticks before sanding and sealing the sticks.

The walking sticks in the raw

We'll have a lot of work the next several days,  but it will be fun to make the best walking sticks ever!

Walking sticks

We decided we need to make the best ever walking sticks that will help us walk and be prepared for anything when camping.

So we went to the Millburn side of the reservation, which  is the far left side of the map, to look for sticks.

By the way I hear a new map is being made so keep your eyes open at your local library!
