CSI Cadets Study the Film

As part of the training to become a CSI agent, the recruits watched portions of films about CSI techniques.

We watched the first 10 minutes of Modern Marvels.  This show started with Sherlock Holmes, whose creator really was a medical doctor.  The fictional detective who inspired real-life scientists such as Edmund Locard, a French pioneer in forensics.

We watched "How to Commit a Perfect Murder" (8:40-14:40 min) about the role of Entomologists in determining time of death.  Then we practiced what we learned at PBS site.

We finished off our training with everyone's favorite scientist Bill Nye.
