Journeyman Woody talked to Ben, while he was taking his air bath that morning, and found out that Ben had decided to keep the ragamuffins on as apprentices, mainly due to their beautiful music and excellent virtues.
He needs to add some virtues to his up-dated Almanac, as well as a few more Aphorisms. If they can produce these, as well as give a lecture to the Philosophical Association about something they have learned this week, then he may keep them on for a longer period!
