Thoreau Week Begins with Journal Making

Our budding Thoreauvians made their own journals to keep their notes and drawings in before hitting our local Walden, the South Mountain Reservation.

Gus and Isaiah contemplate the meaning of folding and stitching as they assemble their journals.

Holding contemplates the world economy of bone and money as he uses his bone folder to smooth his journal edges.

Hannah feels at one with her paper as she creases her sheets with her aura, and hand pressure.

The Final Journals!  Go forth and make our thoughts Transcend!
