If It's Wednesday, It Must Be Stew Day! (part 2)


The apprentices peeled and cut potatoes, sauteed onions and carrots, and boiled up some chicken broth for the soup.  Then they put their elbows into it and whipped up some biscuits.  But the real work was in the oven building.

Below we see the apprentices firing the coals, 


arranging the grill stands and grill (We did not cook cans; they were the legs of the grill!)


Check on the biscuits.

And get the tasty treats out of the ovens.
