Archimedes Screw

We built versions of Archimedes' screws.  One team had 1/4" tubing to wrap around a pvc stick and the other team had 1/2" tubing.  Both groups had to adjust their "screw" to have a higher incline, more loops per inch of pipe, to move the water up the slight incline.

Finn and Edie decided to see if they could suck the water up the tubing.  Yuck!
