Forgotten Painting Bought at Safe Drop

LKI, operating on a hunch, bought an odd painting that has been hanging in the Elmwood Sweet Shop for a couple months.  Arpit, the owner, reported discovering the painting still wrapped up about 6 months ago, an apparent left over from the safe drop days.

LKI decided to by the painting after training some new LKI agents in how to detect art forgeries.

When we examined the painting, we discovered a new backing on the old piece, and after peeling it back, found the original backing, and a small slip of paper under that with what turned out to be Swiss Bank account numbers.

We believe it is the missing money DaVid has been looking for since being forced into being a double agent for the USA after Interpol arrested him and returned him to the United States last July.

We examined it for fingerprints.
